First and foremost, I am a mom to four kiddos - bookend boys with two girls - and happily married to my husband, Joe. We reside in my Northern Kentucky hometown but originally met and started our family in Joe’s native Chicago. As a family of six, our life is loud and crazy but full of love. Enter yoga pants and a permanently fixed messy bun at top of my head.

I was raised in a very large family where baking is how you show love. My grandma raised me from the time I was nine, and if she had let me, I would have baked cookies every single day - as long as I cleaned up my mess! Now I get to make all the messes I want!

about me

I REMEMBER BEING FOUR YEARS OLD WITH MY GRANDMA AND BROTHER, IN HER EXPOSED BRICK KITCHEN, CUTTING OUT SUGAR COOKIES. GRANDMA IN HER DRESS AND APRON, MY BROTHER AND I ARMED WITH OUR RED HANDLED WOODEN ROLLING PINS, READY TO BAKE AWAY THE DAY.

After having my fourth child, I took a leap of faith and transitioned from baking as a hobby to a full-time profession and I haven’t looked back. I was raised to believe that baking is love and feel immensely blessed to live out my dream of baking as a career while also carrying out my grandmother’s legacy though her recipes.

Consider my cookies your very own personal canvas and, along with a dab of creative inspiration and some decades of experience, let’s tell your story in a tasty, edible way.

I promise once you try one of my cookies, you’ll be hooked. Now go order some!
